When I created a fictional world of angelfish breeding for the CIA operatives in my Black Swamp Mysteries series, I had no idea that life would soon imitate art.
I love freshwater angelfish and over the past few years I've seen my own angelfish keeping grow and develop into a homegrown angel breeding business. It seems that the more I wrote about angelfish in my books, the more amorous my own angels became.
So many of my readers have asked about the real angels that I've started this blog to share with you a glimpse into my water world: to share the true stories of birth, life and death of angels in a microcosm of a world that I have created for them myself.
So I hope you'll join me in following these majestic creatures. And along the way, you'll meet the rescue dogs who are by my side as I tend to the fish tanks. All pictures shown on this blog are from my own personal collection. Shown here are two koi angels. The one on the right is ten inches tall. When I first acquired him, he was the size of a dime!
I hope you'll enjoy the journey.
