Most of this blog has been focusing on my angelfish, but I also have a neon tetra tank. Neon tetras, glowlight tetras, and penguin tetras can not be placed in the same tank as full grown angelfish, because they would be considered food.
So they have their own tank, along with several corydoras and a miniature pleco.
This was supposed to be a fireplace but the contractor never finished it. Rather than to look at a gaping hole, I turned it into an aquarium. This is only 20 gallons, but the small tetras in this tank must think it is spacious.
I usually focus on my angelfish, but in another tank I have glowlight tetras and neon tetras.
Glowlight tetras have a gold or copper stripe across the length of their bodies. Neon tetras have half a red stripe and a blue stripe across their bodies.
Cardinal tetras have a red stripe down the entire length of their bodies. However, cardinal tetras, though they appear very similar to neon tetras, have slightly different water condition requirements.
In this 20-gallon tank, I also have four corydoras. Inside the log lives a miniature pleco that only reaches about 3 inches long.

Neon tetras and glowlight tetras can not be placed in the same tank with angelfish. They are small enough to fit into the grown angelfish's mouths so they're considered tasty morsels.
I usually use this blog to talk about my angelfish, but they are not the only fish species that I keep. I also have a smaller tank with neon tetras and glowlight tetras.
The log on the left is hollow inside, and I have a miniature Clown Pleco that lives inside. He (or she) won't get more than 3 or 4 inches long. I also have four corydoras and a couple of snails in the same tank.
I can't place the tetras with angelfish; the tetras are so small and the angels so large that they would easily be mistaken for food.
